MENDING Program
MENDING stands for "Men Ending Violence." This program is a batterer's intervention service.
MENDING can help batterers to:
- Change the beliefs and attitudes that perpetuate domestic violence.
- Realize how they create many of their own conflicts.
- Take responsibility for their actions and give up the blame.
- Open their blinders as to how their behaviors impact their partners, themselves, their children and their relationships.
- Give up their control tactics and their entitlements to use them.
If you are court ordered:
- Call 724-285-8707 within ten days of your court order or you will be referred back to court for non-compliance.
- All appointments must be paid for in advance, including your Intake ($60).
- Appointments must be cancelled at least 24 hours in advance or you will be billed for the appointment. If you are more than 10 minutes late for your appointment, in most cases, will require a new appointment be scheduled and a new fee assessed.
- You will be given verification of your compliance with your court order at this appointment.
- Please bring to your appointment: income verification, any and all court papers including: P.F.A., Police Reports and Conditions of Probation/Parole.
