Housing

Victim Outreach Intervention Center (VOICe) has four residential programs for survivors of domestic violence.

  • Tomorrow’s VOICe is a transitional housing program that offers survivors of domestic violence the option of living in an apartment at a secure facility for up to 24 months. Staff work closely with each participant to assist in their attaining self sufficiency through increasing skills necessary to obtain better education/employment and lead them secure permanent housing. Each adult resident must either be attending school or working for 20 hours a week. VOICe offers residents of these program supportive services such as individual and group counseling, advocacy, children’s services and connection with community-based resources.

  • Bridge Housing is a program that provides rental assistance to survivors of domestic violence for up to 18 months in houses or apartments located within Butler County. During this time, each participant works closely with an agency counselor/advocate. Group and children’s services are also available, as is connection with community-based resources.

  • Enduring VOICe offers supportive housing to survivors of domestic violence who are chronically homeless and have substance abuse and/or mental health issues. VOICe provides a house or apartment where participants can remain while working towards self-sufficiency. As with our other housing programs, our staff work closely with each participant; providing in-home advocacy, counseling, group, children’s services and connection with community-based resources.

  • VOICe is able, with help from our generous community, to provide furniture, small appliances, and household goods for apartments and houses. Everything is delivered directly to the participant’s new home by a group of dedicated volunteers who give many weekend hours of their time.
