Domestic Violence Awareness Month Art Show

The Victim Outreach Intervention Center and AABC is currently issuing a call to artists for its second annual Domestic Violence Awareness Art Show; “The Monster Within”. Artists of all ages and experience levels are invited to submit original art of any medium that represents the hardship and healing that survivors of domestic violence and their children experience.

All submissions should be brought to the Art Center of Associated Artists of Butler County (334 South Main St. Butler, PA) on September 19th between 12:00pm and 4:00pm. The gallery show dates run from September 23rd to October 23rd with an artist reception and candlelight vigil on September 25th from 7:00pm to 9:00pm.

It's time for VOICe's annual Hestia Awards event! The “Hestia” recognizes and honors strong women who make a profound impact to those in need in Butler County through their courage, strength, ingenuity and determination.

A team of judges (past winners and board members) will review all nominations and narrow the field to six finalists who will be presented at our awards brunch on Sunday, October 18, 2015 at the Days Inn Butler, with the winner being presented with the Hestia award.

VOICe Receives United Way Award

VOICe was recently chosen as the recipient of the United Way Award, Live United Award Of Excellence for Non-profit Organization. We are so very proud of Staff! 100% of VOICe Staff have contributed to the United Way Campaign. We are honored to be the first Non-Profit to receive this prestigious award.

We are also very proud for our continued relationship with our Butler County United Way. It is also wonderful to have successful collaboration with Butler Countyl non-profit agencies. We all work for our each individual mission and philosophy but in the end, we are here to help those in need.
