Crisis Services
Our emergency hotline is staffed 24-hours a day, 7 days a week by trained staff and a corps of volunteers who have completed the mandatory 67 hour volunteer training.
This service can be accessed through the Hotline number: 1-800-400-8551 and is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
VOICe provides this toll-free service in order to insure survivors have immediate access to services regardless of where they are; the toll-free service also affords increased measures of safety as toll-free charges do not appear on the caller’s telephone bill. Warning: toll-free numbers may appear on cell phone bills.
Our hotline rings an average of 50 times each day and most often, serves as the point of entry for accessing all other Agency services. Other immediate responders in the County, such as police and hospitals can utilize the hotline to make referrals and/or request survivor advocacy services.
Emergency Crisis Shelter is a short-term facility that temporarily houses survivors and their minor children who must flee their homes because of domestic violence.
